The Move

Well, I've finally made the move into the new studio and started working on my first painting within the new confines, (popped the studio's cherry). There are still a few minor electrical details to finalize before the actual full electrical capacity of the studio are conplete (i.e. the baseboard heat panels.) Sharon will begin her exedus from her second floor bedroom space in the house to her half of the new confines this weekend as I have in turn, manage to take the warzone, (my old studio space within the original house) and transform it into a clean, pleasurable family room with bar, frig, and music studio. There is still a ton of work to do but we are well on our way with the firast phase of returning our house back into a home and developing our full service studio on the property.

  1. Greetings, and congrats on the new studio.

I've been tossing around the idea of building a studio myself, flingin' paint around our new house seems to be reaching far reached areas that are not tarp protected.

Anyways, I hope to participate in your workshop in the upcoming AOC 2009. I shop at Jerry's pretty much every weekend - this is ever since I started painting (abstract) last year.

If you happen to be interested, my website is www.ensnare.net, which shows selections of paintings I've done.

Take care, and hope to see you soon,
    Mike

  2. Mike, I really like your work. Especially "Despot". That piece shouts! Nice that you work in various media and styles. I like the "Angst" of your work. Keep it coming.
